SPIRITUAL AID CENTER

We offer assistance to:

Non-sacramental couples, married couples experiencing marital crisis, lonely and suffering persons,

addicts and co-dependants, people who have lost their faith.

Spiritual Aid Center provides assistance to non-sacramental couples who want to find their place in the Church. Twice a year an information and formation retreat is organized for them. Once or twice a month they have a meeting at the Center and have the opportunity to talk individually with a priest or a psychologist. At present, there are two such groups.

Married couples experiencing marital crisis (Sychar Difficult Marriage Community). The Center's aim is to help with overcoming marital and family problems during community meetings held twice a month and by offering individual meetings with psychologists and therapists. Also, twice a year, open retreats are organized. At present there are two workshop groups for the married couples experiencing marital crisis. The community has its own internet page and internet aid forum.

The Center hosts the Fifth World Movement for the benefit of people who are lonely in their suffering. It has own internet page. The aim of the movement is to draw our attention to the suffering that remains unnoticed and to the suffering people who are present in all milieus and are unable to cope with their problems. We want to tell the suffering people that they are not alone. Volunteers meet twice a month.

The Center takes care of the lonely people. Twice a year there are special retreats and twice a month -meetings devoted to topics proposed by the attendants, and there is one open meeting.

Every Monday between 9:30 - 11.00 there is a meeting for the co-dependent persons who live with alcohol and other addicts. It offers group and individual advice, and in case of need persons are referred to specialist centers or to psychologists and therapists working for the Center.

The Center takes care of the people who have lost their faith and those who are in between faith and

unfaith.

We plan to create a school of prayer and introduction to contemplation.

The Center is open all week except Sundays, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for visits and for telephone calls. You can appoint a meeting with a psychologist or a priest by calling to the Center. The Center is run by volunteers.

On the last Saturday of each month, in the lower church at Skaryszewska Street, at 6:30 p.m. there is a special prayer for the healing of the soul, body, and psyche and for release from addictions.
